CS2 Case Opening: Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about CS2 case odds, provably fair, withdrawals, trade holds, bonus codes and how we test case opening sites.
Are CS2 case sites legit?
Legitimacy and value are separate questions. Check the operator, published odds, withdrawal rules and independent reviews. A site can be legitimate and still poor value.
What does provably fair prove?
That a roll came from the seeds committed before it. It does not prove good odds or a high return.
Why is my withdrawal slower than listed?
Usually item stock, a Steam trade hold on a new authenticator, or an identity check on a first or large withdrawal.
What is a Steam trade hold?
A delay Steam applies to incoming items on accounts without the Mobile Authenticator active for a set period. Sites cannot remove it.
Do bonus codes change the odds?
No. A code adds balance only.

Can I cash out money instead of skins?
Not on the sites we list. Withdrawals deliver skins to Steam; their value is their resale price.
Do the codes have wagering requirements?
None of the seven codes listed here adds one. Platform rules still apply.
What is the house edge?
100% minus the expected return of a case or mode. It is a long-run average; one opening can land far above or below it.
Is crypto or card better for deposits?
Crypto is usually faster but irreversible. Card payments can be disputed but are slower and restricted in some regions.
How old do I have to be?
18 at least, and older where local law requires it.
